‘Les Gaufres’ is a collection of modular candleholders and/or coasters visualizing the typical Belgian waffle. The collection includes ‘La gaufre Liégeoise’, ‘La gaufre Bruxelloise’ and ‘Les gaufres de ma grand-mère’, which have a smaller proportion. ‘Les gaufres’ are designed as a modular system. More sets can be combined to create larger wholes leaving the typical shape of a waffle.

'La gaufre Bruxelloise'
Bram attended both a master course in goldsmithing and sculpting in stone. This explains his focus on knots and hinges and his passion for materials and techniques, characteristic of his design, but also for his way of working and his research. His work shows a great passion for mathematical systems and is very architectural.
In addition to his design practice, Bram teaches at the Interior Design Department at Luca School of Arts in Brussels and Ghent.
His studio is located in Cas-co, a place for artistic research, production and presentation in Leuven.
